Twin Lions Hotel

Great location, bus stop into city centre literally the other side of the car park wall, only 2 stops down the road for the zoo. Really friendly staff. Breakfast was really good, best scrambled eggs we've had in a long time! Beds were comfy, although the bunk bed (family room, but 3 adults staying) was a little low and wobbly.

The staff at the Twin Lions is very helpful and friendly. They make their best for the host to be confortable. The hotel is 40 min walking away from the city. It's very easy to get there from the airport (10 min ride with the Airlink 100 bus), and from/to the city (10 min ride by bus). You can also walk to the city following the side walk. Definitely good value for money. Thank staff for your care 😀

Owner was lovely and helpful Only needed the room to sleep after an event so was excellent for just that room was small but comfortable Location was great for an event in the highland showground,expensive taxi on the way back early hours tho For the price it was excellent value for money Breakfast was included but cooked breakfast wasn't nice,over and under cooked eggs a spoonful of cold beans and under cooked bacon Continental was fine cereals,fruit and fresh juice For the price you can't complain with breakfast included just wouldn't have the cooked if I stayed again which I definitely would for another event and a short stay.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. John was really helpful, nothing we asked for was too much trouble for him. Even though it was just outside the city centre there was a bus stop directly outside the hotel and the buses were regular. The breakfast was great, too. There was a choice of cereals with a full fry up (the sausages were especially good) and toast, juices, tea, and coffee. Perfect It wasn't fancy or modern but for somewhere to lay your head at night. It was ideal. The beds were super comfy. I'd definitely consider booking again. Great value, especially during the fringe.

On the first day it was strange not having a bathroom in the room, but you get used to it. You have to get up early in the morning so you can shower in peace. It is an old building but the staff cleans the communal bathroom several times a day. Great bus connections for everywhere right outside the hotel.
